Is this going to even work? (Posting, that is...)
Hi. I hate the Internet. More accurately, I hate the Internet connection here at my apartment. I'm a spoiled brat. And, as one, I have thrown two tantrums (internally, thank you) since yesterday afternoon. I wrote a long, lovely email to my mother and then hit send and tick tock tick tock BAM - email gone. Not sent, just gone. I wrote a response to my dad's "laryngitis helpful hints" comment and then BING - it disappeared. My phone wasn't working either yesterday so I was in a huff and wishing I didn't have the phone or the computer to remind me of each failing technology within the confines of my concrete walls. Okay, in a glass-is-half-full attempt at optimism, the things that haven't failed me so far are (in order of importance to me): my toilet (and the plumbing system in general), the "warm lights" in the bathroom (they actually heat the FLOOR tiles, these things...not your all-purpose lights, mind you), the hot water tap on my water "cooler" (better name would be water warmer), my computer for the other important function of being my MUSIC system, the washing machine, the bug-zapper, my air conditioner, the refrigerator, and the lights in my room and kitchen. So, the power hasn't just gone out on me and I should be very thankful, I know. In fact, having made this list, I realize how lucky I am. Ahhhhh.....
The other thing I want to say before trying out the fritzified connection again: I've got a working mailing address:

Three items have made separate arrivals to my desk, so I'd say it's a safe bet. Some day, I'll get to the task of updating the CONTACT page on the website. Some day.
