The End of an Era
This is what I was expecting before I moved to China so I can’t be too disappointed. The Internet connection has gone from trustworthy to fickle. Just when I had completely let my guard down and the bar of expectations was in the highest notch, I’ve come to find that it works for five minutes and then, BAM, nothing. So, I’m not sure that this will affect posting – so much – but it makes for really frustrating email attempts.
My own diagnosis is that now there are 10 or so other people trying to be online at the same time and the new system still has bugs so it makes for slow or even non-existent service. Oh well, at least surfing has become impossible and I can focus on Chinese study instead of voting for the dumbest moment of 2006 and the stupidest man of 2006. (If you have reliable Internets, you should check out this website…pretty funny.)
