Oh my goodness, this has been crazy ALREADY! I almost missed the stop in Xi'an at 5am this morning. The lights were off in the train, everyone was snoring, the train stopped for longer than usual, I heard some one ask if we were in Xi'an and my adrenaline kicked in when I heard, "Yes". I was on the top of three bunks, my bags were stuffed all over the train car because they're all too big - I've never advocated owning nothing more than after this most recent little bit of traveling. My body was shaking as I stepped on people, whispering, "Sorry!" and running around looking for my stuff. I managed to get off the train with everything but my sunglasses. Pretty good for being asleep while doing it. So I'm here. It is strange to be alone all of a sudden. My last night in SH was the best ever. Can't get into it right now as I've got people waiting to use the computer here at the hostel. Just wanted to let my family and friends now that I made it. Going to have a look around the city today and then will see the Warriors tomorrow. I still have to decide whether I'll schlep all of my belongings to an even smaller hostel in Hua Shan or if I'll take the guided tour with my hostel here in Xi'an. I really want to climb the whole of that mountain! Heart, Lillis
