I graduated from Elementary II Mandarin after our little exam in class today. I almost got a little teary, but we started comparing animal sounds (the difference between a Chinese donkey and a Western donkey is ASTOUNDING!) and the moment passed. Wonderful! I love Shanghai and I love Mandarin House.
I'll write from Wuhan. Apparently the apartments on campus are no longer going to be used for the foreign teachers and I'll be living at the branch school and commuting by bus every day. Just like in Seattle! Looking forward to having a job again - especially one involving children!
