America and China: Big babies?
I had a dream last night that I was taking care of twin newborns. They already had names but I couldn't remember them so I christened one baby "America" and the other "China". It was really difficult taking care of them. I needed to feed them every couple of hours but starting with one and going through the whole process meant as soon as I was finished, it was time to start with the other. They were very needy too - more needy than usual, I'm sure of it! I'd spend all this time holding and talking to and cuddling America, only to have China start to cry and want attention right as America seemed momentarily calm. It was impossible for me to keep them both happy at the same time.
The last thing I remember before waking this morning was that I had figured out how to hold both babies at once and they were content, at the same time, for the first time. It was I who was exhausted and a little distraught.
What could it mean?
